<br /> At your request , we are hereby submitting our proposal to provide professional services for the
<br /> above subject project .
<br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION
<br /> It was determined during our previous inspection and structural analysis of the Indian River
<br /> County South Regional WWTF headworks system that corrosion of the interior walls have
<br /> reduced the effective thickness of the concrete and that the concrete must be restored to
<br /> its
<br /> original condition to ensure adequate treatment of the wastewater.
<br /> Preliminary repair recommendations were made based on the findings of the inspection and
<br /> analysis . The County is now requesting the services of a professional engineer to assist with the
<br /> preparation of design plans and specifications , bid review and recommendation , construction
<br /> administration, and certification of the proposed headworks rehabilitation project . The following
<br /> scope of services has been provided to address these items .
<br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES
<br /> Task 1 —Drawings and Specifications
<br /> MBV Engineering, hic will prepare and provide to Indian River County finalized drawings and
<br /> specifications , which will specify the design requirements necessary to ensure compliance with
<br /> current codes , more specifically , ACI 318 - 05 Building Code Requirements for Structural
<br /> Concrete , which is the governing design code for this type of structure .
