HENCE, THE FOLLOWING RE- <br />QUEST IS XADEt <br />MEANS BE womAED OUT AND EFFORTS <br />THAT somE <br />INITIATED TO PUT STREET LIGHTS AT ALL PAVED <br />INTERSECTIONS ON NO. GIFFORD ROAD, AND IN THE' <br />GIFFORD AREA. NAMELY 31ST, 33RD, AND 38TH <br />AVENUES, ALSO 25TH, 35TH AND 0XML4NS AVENUES. <br />THAT THE COUNTY COXHISSIONERS REQUEST'THE <br />STATE ROAD DEPT. TO INSTALL STREET LIGHTS ALONG <br />SOUTH GIFFORD ROAD FROM THE RAILROAD, WEST TO <br />38TH AVENUE. THIS ROAD WILL SOON BE A BUSY <br />HIGHWAY AND WE BELIEVE TRUCKS, TRAILERS, AND <br />OTHER VEHICLES WILL BE USING THIS ROAD. THIS <br />COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR MOTORISTS AND PEDESTRIANS. <br />ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. WE ALSO REQUEST THAT <br />ADDITIONAL LIGHTS BE INSTALLED ON U.S. #1 BET- <br />WEEN NORTH GIFFORD AND SOUTH GivrqnD ROAD, AND <br />AT 45TH STREET AND OLD U.S. #i. <br />JAN 20 <br />
