On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Dritenbas, the Board unanimously voted that the request of the School Board, for loan of four voting machines, be approved, in accordance with the policy of furnishing them to the schools, and that they be delivered to the High School on May 1. The Annual Report of the Humane Society of Vero Beach for the period Y,eg nrrin Ja rary 1, 19-70 and ending, December- 31, 1970; and the Annual Report of the.Flood Control District for the period beginning July 1, 196:9 and ending June 30, 1910 were received and placed on file in the office of the Clerk. On Motion of Commissioner L y, second 0of Commissioner Dritenbas, the Board unanimously approved the following Budget Amendment; Budget Amendment General Fund To From Estimated Expenses 23561.3 Library- State Aid $7,980.00 Estimated Receipts 1292 State Aid to Library $7,980.00 The Board requested that the Administrator write a letter thanking the State Legislature for their part in acquiring this aid for the Library. A report on shoreline erosion was received from Donald Macdonald; and the Board commended Mr. Macdonald for the fine work he has done for.the County in this respect.
