NEC NEC Corporation of America <br />1. Project Summary <br />NEC to provide a SV8300 to replace 2000 IPS and Remote PIMS. The system includes new Dual CPUs, chassis, cards <br />and SV8300 Remote -Plus Package. The database will remain the same and be migrated therefore no end user training is <br />included. All phones will be reused. NEC to provide UM4730 to replace AD -64. The price includes an after-hours <br />cutover. All of the equipment, software and NEC services per the attached quote will be provided for the upgrade. The <br />current maintenance agreement will cover any parts and labor after the upgrade and will be revised on the anniversary <br />date of the renewal. <br />2. Project Description <br />The following are the major tasks that will be performed for the migration: <br />SV8300: <br />Verity space availability for SV8300 system <br />Download existing database from existing NEC 2000 systems and prepare the database for upload into 2000. <br />Unpack, mount and power up SV8300. <br />Download licensing from License Management Server (LMS) and install licensing into SV8300 CPU. <br />Upload the SV8300 database. <br />Connect SV8300 to network. <br />Install remote shelves and connect shelves to the network. <br />Test connectivity of main SV8300 to remote SV8300 shelves. <br />Verify and test SV8300 programming. <br />Prepare system for cutover. <br />Cutover all service to SV8300. <br />Monitor system onsite for first day in service. <br />UM4730: <br />Verify installation location of UM4730. <br />Download information from AD64 database. <br />Unpack, install and power up UM4730. <br />Download and install licensing from LMS. <br />Upload converted database <br />Connect UM4730 to SV8300. <br />Test integration from UM4730 to SV8300 including greetings and message waiting lights. <br />Prepare system for cutover. <br />5 <br />
