He/she initiates and maintains <br /> extensive relationships with clients, understands and meets the clients' needs and concerns, and <br /> supervises project management staff in production of projects and is responsible to the client for the <br /> success of the projects in terms of quality, timeliness and budget . <br /> Project Manager- Registered Professional Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience ; this individual <br /> is responsible to manage the overall project production , supervise project engineers and designers, <br /> coordinate communications and ensure project tasks completed as planned . <br /> Senior Project Engineer- Registered Professional Engineer with minimum 10 years of experience ; this <br /> individual performs technical task assignments and works with project engineers, designers and drafting <br /> production and administrative staff as assigned to the projects . <br /> Project Engineer- this individual has passed the Engineering Intern examination or is a post -graduate <br /> engineer with up to 5 years of experience ; performs technical and specialized task assignments for <br /> various project components, coordinates with Sr . project engineer and project manager . <br /> Staff Engineer- Recent graduate Engineer with up to 3 - 5 years of experience ; this individual performs <br /> technical and specialized task assignments for various project components, coordinates with designers <br /> and drafting production and administrative staff as assigned to the projects . <br /> Certified Resident Construction Representative - A construction technician certified by the Florida <br /> Department of Transportation ; this individual represents the Engineer- of- Record in the field and is <br /> responsible to observe the quality and progress of construction projects, coordinates with independent <br /> testing laboratory and observes quality assurance testing, prepares daily reports, coordinates with the <br /> owner' s field representative , communicates with the project manager and interfaces with the <br /> contractor' s superintendent . <br /> Senior Technician - This individual is experienced in Microstation drafting software ; responsible for <br /> coordinating and assigning the work performed by designers and technicians, prepares designs and <br /> detailed drawing, 3 - D file cross-sections, s and drafting computations associated with the design work . <br /> Attends project progress meetings, and communicates directly with the project manager on specific <br /> assignments and desired completion schedule . <br /> Technician/ Designer- This individual is experienced in AutoCAD drafting software ; responsible for <br /> performing moderately complex engineering design , quantity take -off calculations and normal drafting ; <br /> performs mathematical computations associated with engineering plans . Work is generally performed <br /> under supervision of Sr . Technician and is reviewed for technical accuracy in progress and upon <br /> completion . <br /> Technician/ Drafting- This individual performs routine drafting tasks and drafting work associated with <br /> engineering plans . Specific assignments are received from a supervisor and work is generally performed <br /> under supervision and reviewed for technical accuracy in progress and upon completion . <br /> Administrative Manager- This individual assures that all of the clerical and support functions in the <br /> office operate smoothly; distribute word processing and production work accordingly making sure that <br /> deadlines are met . Serves as a liaison between the Project Manager and administrative staff. <br /> Administrative Assistant/ Clerical - this individual is responsible for document control for the project <br /> team and attends project progress meetings, performs word processing and prepares project related <br /> typed materials . He/she sets up and maintains project files, and assists the project engineer during <br /> bidding process by distributing bid documents and maintains plan holders ' list . <br /> 17 <br />
