Page 1 Of 2 <br /> 12;O7J2011 .�t 07 :40 RM . <br /> NOTICE OF GRANT REQUIREMENTS JEFFREY K BAR ► oN.c, ouR ► CLERK of <br /> ( " Pressley Grant Tract " ) <br /> Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ( the "County" ), is the fee owner of <br /> a <br /> certain parcel of land in Indian River County, Florida , described in attached Exhibit A ( the " Property" <br />) . <br /> Indian River County entered into grant agreement number FL- 1\1171 , dated January 5 , 2011, for the "St . <br /> Johns River Headwaters Project — Phase II " (the " Grant" ) for land acquisition under the authority of the <br /> North American Wetlands Conservation Act ( 16 USC 64 ) with the United States of America , acting by <br /> and through the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (the "Service" ) . The agreement is on file with <br /> the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Bird Habitat Conservation , 1849 C Street, NW <br />, <br /> Washington , DC 20240 . The purpose of the Grant is to acquire habitat for wetlands -dependent <br /> migratory birds . <br /> Notice is hereby given that the County acquired the Property using Grant funds . Federal regulations <br /> require that the Property be used for the purpose of the Grant and restrict the County from disposing of <br /> the Property or encumbering its title . <br /> The Property shall be administered in accordance with the terms , conditions , and purposes of the Grant . <br /> The County' s interest in the Property, or any potion of the County' s interest in the Property, may not be <br /> sold , transferred , pledged , or otherwise disposed of or further encumbered without obtaining approval <br /> of the Service , its designee , or successor .
