Consistent with the Technical <br /> Specifications , if unacceptable rock, rubble or any other debris is encountered within the <br /> proposed sand .fill during construction : <br /> 1 . The CONTRACTOR shall immediately cease operation and move excavation <br /> operations and alter the mining process to a different ' ^ ^ ., tion within the <br /> ; <br /> ^ ate until acceptable material is obtained . <br /> 2 . The CONTRACTOR. shall immediately notify the ENGINEER verbally , and <br /> report the encounter with the rock, rubble or debris on the quality control <br /> form , providing the location at the mine in State Plane Coordinates of the area <br /> of rock, rubble or debris . <br /> D . As required by the Technical Specifications , if the CONTRACTOR fails to <br /> comply with the above provisions to avoid unacceptable material , then rock, rubble or <br /> any other unacceptable material which is excavated and placed on the beach may be <br /> required to be removed from the beach fill by the CONTRACTOR, totally at the <br /> CONTRACTOR' s own cost . If the CONTRACTOR fails to remove the rock, rubble or <br /> debris , to the satisfaction of the ENGIEER, such debris may be removed by the <br /> COUNTY and the cost of such removal may be deducted from any money due , or to <br /> become due , to the CONTRACTOR or may be recovered under his bond . <br /> E . The CONTRACTOR shall avoid pockets of poor quality material in the mine <br /> beffew areas which do not comply with permit conditions . The CONTRACTOR is <br /> responsible for all placed material , including rock debris or other poor quality material as <br /> described above and as described in the Technical Specifications . The CONTRACTOR <br /> is required to comply with all remediation requirements of the COUNTY or FDEP <br /> resulting from placement of non- compatible material on the beach , including sediment <br /> removal and disposal . <br /> F . For each 500 foot section that has been sampled and tested by the THIRD <br /> PARTY the CONTRACTOR shall provide an Acceptance Section Form to the <br /> COUNTY indicating that the material placed has been tested and is in compliance with <br /> the sand standards as described in Section IV above .
