WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9, 1971 <br />i <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero <br />Beach, Florida on Wednesday, June 9, 1971 at 8:30 o'cock A. M. <br />Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice <br />Chairman; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J. Massey. Absent was D. <br />B. McCullers, Jr. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County <br />Administrator; Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Baa rd of County <br />Commissioners; James Reams, Deputy Sheriff; and L. S. Thomas and <br />Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />' The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked <br />if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the <br />regular meeting*of May 19, 1971. Commissioner Loy requested that <br />on Page 3, Paragraph 4 should be changed to read "that the Administrator <br />advise Merrill P. Barber, President of the Indian River Citrus Bank, <br />that the Board accepts the Bank's offer of historic art prints, and <br />appreciates the offer. Commissioner Dritenbas requested that on <br />Page 14, third line, the date should be June 5. These corrections <br />having been made, Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, second by <br />Commissioner, Dritenbas, and the minutes of the meeting of May 19 <br />were unanimously approved as corrected. commissioner McCullers being <br />absent did not vote, <br />k <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, appeared and <br />reported on zoning violations.. Inspector Walker advised the Board' <br />of the need for an ordinance ori clearing .of :underb-rUsb-from._vacant lots in <br />subdivisions.
