On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the State Witness Payroll for the Circuit Court, Spring <br />Term in the amount of $16.08 and the State Witness Payroll for <br />the County Court, May Term in the amount of $150.36 were unanimously <br />approved. <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon and <br />reconvened at 1:30 o'clock P. M. <br />Alton Cox Air and Water Pollution Control, requesting <br />stip <br />g <br />space and secretarial assistance from the County, was to be informed <br />that the County is short on office space. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commission. <br />McCullers, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION 71-42 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the said Board pursuant to Chapter 65-1714, Laws <br />of Florida, 1965, does hereby elect, on behalf of Homer C. Fletcher, <br />County Tax Assessor, a fee basis officer of Indian River County, Florida, <br />to exercise the authority provided by said Chapter, so that the above <br />mentioned fee basis officer for himself and his employees may enter into <br />an agreement with Federated Mutual Insurance Company, under Medical Plan <br />40 with Major medical benefits of the said company; with said fee basis y <br />officer contributing for each single rate employee contract where the <br />employee has less than five years of continuous service; and for each <br />family rate employee contract for each employee with five years or more <br />of continuous service; and for each family rate employee contract for <br />each supervisory employee, without regard to length of service; the said <br />contribution to be made as an operating expense of the said tax assessor's <br />office; and the balance of the monthly premium, if any, shall.be paid by <br />the individual employee by means of payroll deduction, all as is provided <br />for by said Chapter 65-1714, Laws of Florida, 1965. <br />`� Book <br />
