Engineering Division <br /> .1801 27th Street <br /> Vero Beach , FL 32960 <br /> Re: Fairgrounds Ag Pavilion <br /> Dear Mr. Kafer. <br /> In accordance with your request, below please find the scope , of work and fee proposal for <br /> engineering work on the Fairgrounds Ag Pavilion . <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Roof• plan and • wind loading calculations - SBS will prepare a drawing depicting the existing roof <br /> framing system based on. record plans provided by IRC, SBS will complete one site visit to confirm <br /> record drawings represent field conditions , SBS will provide required loading conditions for the <br /> components and cladding of the replacement roof system (typically provided in °'zones° over the roof <br /> area),. SBS will provide appropriate, code references and design basis, and SBS will provide <br /> specifications for the wind loading requirements of the roof system , and specifications indicating that <br /> the contractor must submit Florida Building product approvals on all materials proposed for use on <br /> the work: which meet the loading conditions specified . <br /> Tasks . excluded from the scope of work are: an analysis of the existing main wind force resistant <br /> system or existing purlins , specifying roof material gauge or fastening schedules — (the Florida <br /> Product approval documents provides these specifications) , specifying other ancillary work (i . e. <br /> gutter, downspouts , etc.) , preparing or assisting in the contractor procurement , assisting in the <br /> contract administration , inspections or review of product approvals , or assisting in the submittal of <br /> bldg . permit plans , other than to provide signed and sealed drawings : <br /> Time for completion is 45 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed but no less than 30 days from <br /> receipt of record drawings for use in preparation of SBS drawings <br /> Fee Proposal <br /> SBS can provide the basic engineering services — roof plan and wind loading calculations as for a <br /> lump sum fee of $ 1 ,760 .00 , plus the cost for copies, prints or other similar reimbursable items. This <br /> fee is conditioned upon IRC providing record bldg . plans which depict existing roof framing .
