in Gifford and was formerly owned by Bethel Haddock. The minimal <br />bid is to be $2,500.00. <br />Attorneys Gordon Johnston and James Vocelle appeared <br />in regard to Road and Bridge tax monies believed owed the T6wn of <br />Indian River Shores since 1958. The Board requested further time <br />to research the matter. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the Board unanimously accepted the bid of D and J Sheet <br />Metal in the bid opening of 9:30 o'clock, as the lowest and best <br />bid, amount of $1,453.60. <br />Attorney James Vocelle appeared in opposition to a <br />moratorium against building on S. R. 60. No action was taken by <br />the Board. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />Dritenbas, the Board unanimously authorized the Administrator to <br />answer the request of Mrs. Bryan of Ixora Park Subdivision, and to <br />help eliminate speeding on Second Street'in Ixora Park by the <br />installation of a speed bump.. _. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that the request of <br />Attorney Charles Sullivan, in behalf of Patricia Maloney, to <br />abandon 50 feet of Tamrich. Road be denied. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Mcdullers, second of Commissioner <br />Loy, the Board unanimously authorized purchase of a "Walkie Talkie" <br />by Jay A. Smith, Civil Defense Director in the amount of $35.00. <br />Don Adams, Building Director, appeared before the Board <br />requesting adoption of amendments of .the Building Code. The matter <br />was referred to the County Attorney for proper procedure in adding <br />the amendments to the Building Code. <br />Commissioner McCullers volunteered to represent the Board <br />on the Governing Board of the Economic Opportunities Council. <br />JUL 2,1 G <br />soot A Wn i2 <br />
