on Motion made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy, the following Resolution was unanimously <br />adopted: <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 71-44 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida,_ that the rate of taxation necessary <br />to meet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September <br />30, 1972, pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore pub- <br />lished and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that the tax rate <br />as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied on <br />all taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, .for the year <br />1971 with the rate hereinafter set out, to -wit: <br />1. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the General <br />Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of <br />two and fifty-six hundredths (2.56) mills upon the dollar be <br />levied and is hereby imposed. <br />2 In order to meet the estimated espenses of the Road and <br />Bridge Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate <br />of eighty-two hundredths (.82) mill upon the dollar be levied <br />and is herby imposed. <br />3. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Fine <br />and Forfeiture Fund, itis.determined and hereby declared that a <br />tax rate of two and five hundredths (2.05) mills upon the dollar <br />be levied and is hereby. -imposed. <br />4. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County <br />Public Health Unit, it is determined and hereby declared that <br />a tax rate.of twenty-two hundredths (.22) mill upon the dollar <br />be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all property <br />lying and being in the County of Indian River, the proceeds of <br />which when collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the <br />State of Florida for the account of the State Board of Health <br />IMe. 1971 <br />
