As you are aware , we have already been authorized to appraise the subject property <br /> on a lump sum basis at $4 , 900 . <br /> This letter is to engage my services for all expert witness time associated with litigating this case ; however, will <br /> exclude time to prepare the subject appraisal . Under this agreement, Indian River County agrees to compensate <br /> the Spivey Group , Inc . at the following labor rates plus reimbursable expenses : $ 150 per hour for principals <br /> with an MAI designation, $ 200 per hour for expert testimony, $ 125 per hour for associates , and $ 95 per hour <br /> for research staff. Invoices will be submitted by The Spivey Group , Inc . regularly to Indian River County , <br /> which agrees to pay approved invoices . <br /> It is also my understanding that Mr. Russell L . Woodall and/or Joseph S . Waters will provide landscape <br /> expertise on this parcel and will bill through my contract at a standard rate of $ 125 per hour. <br /> I hope this proposal is consistent with our mutual understanding and satisfactory to you and Indian River <br /> County .
