Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, the Board unanimously approved the request <br />of Bethel Haddock that he be permitted to tear down the frame part <br />of the County's building in order that he can obtain insurance, <br />provided that this be done in accordance to County Regulations and <br />provided that the debris be hauled to the dump. <br />A letter was received from Lawton Chiles regarding the <br />$10,000.00 contribution for a water and sewerage study in Indian <br />River County. <br />Requests were received from the Clerk of the Circuit Court <br />and the Tax Collector that the Board consider finishing the second <br />floor of the Annex for offices for their departments with funds to <br />be received from their excess fees. The Building Committee was to <br />go over the plans and the Clerk was requested to clear the expenditure <br />with the Legisla i; a Auditor. <br />A Motion was -made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by <br />Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried that Gladys Vigliano <br />be known as the Ccunty Welfare Director, as she has been working <br />in that capacity. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy and the out of County travel of Gladys Vigliano, <br />County Welfare Director to Jacksonville on November 28 through <br />November 30 to attend a meeting of the Florida Association of County <br />Welfare Executives was unanimously approved. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a stgttement of his <br />appointments of Philip Lee Redstone whose voting precinct is , <br />and of Julian Richmond Royals whose voting precinct is 2 A, as <br />Deputy Sheriffs and the Said Deputy Sheriffs filed their bonds with <br />with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, which was presented to the <br />Board. On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy and unanimously carried, the bonds of said Deputy <br />Sheriffs were approved and ordered filed with the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court. <br />Book -4 wi%'9 <br />M 10 1971 <br />
