A Motion was'made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that approval of <br />the Application for Participation in the Federal Flood Insurance <br />Program be deferred until December 9th in order that the Application <br />might be reviewed by the Attorney. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, and the Board unanimously accepted the bid <br />of Pippin,Tractor and Equipment, Inc. bid in the bid opening of <br />9:30 o'clock for two tractors and mowers in the amount of $5,996.00 <br />as being the lowest and best bid. <br />A letter from Harold S. Winter offering for sale to the <br />County, the lot adjoining the Wabasso Beach Park property, at a <br />cost to the County of $35,000.00 was to be taken under advisement. <br />The Administrator reported that the American Cancer <br />Society would like to be given from 45 to 60 minutes of the employees' <br />time. Arrangements were to be made by the department heads. <br />It was reported that there would be a meeting of the <br />Legislative Delegation on Saturday, January 8, at 2:00 P. M. <br />Items for the agenda should be mailed to Jane Robinson, Chairman of <br />the Delegation, prior to the meeting. <br />A request by Urban Development Utilities for approval <br />for an increase in rates was to be researched by the Attorney prior <br />to action by the Board. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that the Blanket <br />Bond covering Road and Bridge Employees be discontinued. <br />ThenBoard adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon and reconvened <br />at 1:30 o'clock P.
