The Office Of Economic Opportunity was requested to <br />submit a budget to the Board of. County Commissioners prior to <br />the signature of the Chairman on the Check Point Program, so that <br />it might be reviewed by the Board. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />i' <br />Commissioner Dritenbas, the Board unanimously accepted the bid <br />of H. F. Mason Equipment Company, bid in the bid opening of <br />9:30 in the amount of $2,460.50 for a drag line bucket, as <br />recommended by the Administrator. <br />The Board had -no objection to a request to put a small <br />dock in the Sebastian River. <br />A letter was received from Alton G. Cox of the Air.and <br />Water Pollution Control prohibiting burning at the stump dump. It <br />was decided that the County would meet with the City of Vero Beach <br />City Council to decide the steps to be taken in the matters <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon and <br />reconvened at 1:30 o'clock P. M. Commissioner McCullers was <br />absent. <br />The Board expressed no objections to the relocation of <br />an easement in Vero Beach Homesites, Unit 1-A, provided that the <br />work meets County specifications and that there is no cost incurred <br />by the County. <br />A letter was received from B. Simon, Manpower Office, <br />Florida State Employment Service, requesting office space in the <br />Welfare wilding.
