SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />180127 th Street Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Telephone: (772) 567-8000 FAX: (772) 770-5140 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 12, <br />2011. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words "Indian River Boulevard and 17th Street <br />Intersection Improvements" & Bid No. 2011048. Bids should be addressed to Purchasing <br />Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read <br />aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., of the day specified above, will be returned <br />unopened. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 1024 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2011048 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: THE PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE RE -ALIGNMENT OF THE <br />NORTHBOUND LEFT TURN LANE AT THE INTERSECTION OF INDIAN RIVER <br />BOULEVARD AND 17 STREET WHICH WILL PROVIDE BETTER VISABILITY FOR <br />MOTORISTS AT THE INTERSECTION. THE WORK WILL INVOLVE NEW PAVEMENT. <br />RESURFACING, AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto, which may be <br />obtained from the Public Works Department/Engineering Division, 1801 27th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida, 32960, (772) 226-1283. Copies of the plans and specifications containing the <br />necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to Indian <br />River County, in the amount of $75.00 for each set, which represents cost of printing and <br />handling, which is non-refundable. Communications concerning this bid shall be directed to <br />IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing Co. ircgov. corn . <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications.
