SC - 13 . 03 Test and Inspections <br /> SC - 13 . 03 . B . Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC- 13. 03. 8 in its entirety, and insert the <br /> following sentences in its place: <br /> Be OWNER shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing laboratory to <br /> perform all initial inspections , tests , or approvals required by the Contract Documents <br /> except those inspections , tests , or approvals listed immediately below . Subsequent <br /> inspections , tests , or approvals required after initial failing inspections , tests , or <br /> approvals shall be paid for by the CONTRACTOR by back charge to subsequent <br /> applications for payment . The CONTRACTOR shall arrange , obtain , and pay for the <br /> following inspections , tests , or approvals : <br /> 1 . inspections , tests , or approvals covered by paragraphs 13 . 03 . 0 and 13 . 03 . D <br /> below ; <br /> 24 costs incurred in connection with tests or inspections conducted pursuant to <br /> paragraph 13 . 04 . 6 shall be paid as provided in said paragraph 13 . 04 . 13 ; <br /> 3 , tests otherwise specifically provided in the Contract Documents , <br /> 13 . 05 OWNER May Stop the Work <br /> SC- 13 . 05 . A . Delete paragraph GC43. 05. A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br /> place: <br /> Be If the Work is defective , or CONTRACTOR fails to supply sufficient skilled <br /> workers or suitable materials or equipment , or fails to comply with permit <br /> requirements , or fails to comply with the technical specifications , or fails to <br /> perform the Work in such a way that the completed Work will conform to the <br /> Contract Documents , OWNER may order CONTRACTOR to stop the Work , or any <br /> portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated ; however, this <br /> right of OWNER to stop the Work shall not give rise to any duty on the part <br /> of <br /> OWNER to exercise this right for the benefit of CONTRACTOR , any <br /> Subcontractor, any Supplier, any other individual or entity , or any surety for, or <br /> employee or agent of any of them . <br /> 14 . 02 Progress Payments <br /> SC- 14 . 02 . 6 . 5 . Delete paragraph GC- 14. 02, B, 5. d in its entirety and insert the following paragraph <br /> in its place: <br /> Idle ENGINEER has actual knowledge of the occurrence of any of the events <br /> enumerated in paragraph 15 . 02 . A ; or <br /> SC- 14 . 02 . 6 . 5 . Add the following sentences at the end of paragraph GC44. 02. 8. 5: <br /> e .
