CONTRACTOR , which is allowed solely for the convenience of the CONTRACTOR , shall be borne by the CONTRACTOR , and a credit given to the OWNER to deduct the costs of all such inspection and testing from any payments otherwise due the CONTRACTOR . 5 . All costs of OWNER' s employees and costs of ENGINEER 's Consultant resulting from overtime work by the CONTRACTOR , which is allowed solely for the convenience of the CONTRACTOR , shall be borne by the CONTRACTOR , and a credit given to OWNER to deduct all such costs from any payments otherwise due the CONTRACTOR . 6 . No work shall commence before 7 a . m . or continue after 5 p . m . except in case of emergency upon specific permission of the ENGINEER . Department of the Army Corps of Engineers - None 2 . The CONTRACTOR shall obtain and pay for all other required permits and licenses . The CONTRACTOR shall provide copies of the permits to the OWNER and ENGINEER and shall comply with all conditions contained in the permits at no extra cost to the OWNER. 3 . The CONTRACTOR shall be familiar with all permit requirements during construction and shall be responsible for complying with these requirements . The cost of this effort shall be included in the pay item in which the work is most closely associated with . SC -1303 . Test and Inspections SC- 13 . 03 . 13 . Delete paragraph GG13. 03. 8 in its entirety, and insert the following sentences in its place: A. OWNER shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing 'laboratory to perform all initial inspections , tests , or approvals required by the Contract Documents except those inspections , tests, or approvals listed immediately below.
