DRAINAGE PIPE <br /> 1 ) GENERAL <br /> A) The Contractor shall furnish and install drainage pipes of the size and type and at the invert <br /> elevations shown on the Drawings , <br /> 2 ) MATERIALS <br /> A) Corrugated Steel Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as " CMP" , the drainage pipe and required <br /> coupling bands shall be corrugated galvanized steel and shall conform to the requirements of <br /> Section 943 of the FDOT Specifications . <br /> B) Corrugated Aluminum Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as "CAP " , or "Alum . CMP" , the <br /> drainage pipe and required coupling bands shall be corrugated aluminum and shall conform to <br /> the requirements of Section 945 of the FDOT Specifications . <br /> C) Concrete Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as RCP , the drainage pipes shall meet the <br /> requirements of ASTM C76-70 Class III ) and Sections 941 and 942 of the FDOT Specifications , <br /> unless otherwise noted . <br /> D) PVC PIPE - Where shown on the Drawings as PVC , the drainage pipe and fittings shall be <br /> Sch . 40 , Polyvinyl Chloride , and shall conform to the requirements of Section 948- 1 of the FDOT <br /> Specifications , unless otherwise noted . <br /> E) HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE PIPE - Where shown on the Drawings as HDPE , the drainage <br /> pipe and fittings high density polyethylene , and shall conform to the requirements of Section <br /> 948- 1 of the FDOT Specifications , unless otherwise noted . <br /> F) Bituminous Pipe Coating - Where shown on the Drawings as Asphalt Coated , metal pike , <br /> "ACCMP" , the pi pa and fittings shall be bituminous coated inside and out m conformance with <br /> Section 943 of the FDOT Specifications . <br /> G ) Filter Cloth - Where required shall be Amoco Propex 4545 , or equal , approved by Engineer prior <br /> to ordering . <br /> H ) Mitered End Sections - Mitered end sections shall be constructed in accordance with the <br /> applicable D . O . T . Road Design Standard Index ( No . 272 , 273 or 274) called for on the Drawings . <br /> 1 ) Flared End Sections - Flared end sections shall be constructed in accordance with the applicable <br /> D .
