The Contractor shall indemnify and save the Owner, the Owner's Representative, the Engines <br /> and the Engineer's employees harmless of, from and against all losses , claims, demands , <br /> payments , suits , actions, debts, dues recoveries, and judgments of every kind, nature and <br /> description , including reasonable attomeys' fees, and Including but not limited to claims <br /> property damage and claims for injury to or death of persons brought or recovered ag st them <br /> during the period of legal limitations by reason of any action or omission of the said ntractor, his <br /> subcontractors , material men, agents , servants, or employees in the execution of a work or the <br /> guarding of it, in a sum not to exceed $300, 000 each person , $500, 000 each a dent for bodily <br /> injury 'or death and $50, 000 for property damage . The Contractor shall, at hi n cost and <br /> expense , secure and maintain throughout the execution of the work a poll c f Contractual Liability <br /> Insurance , written by an insurance company acceptable to the Owner a e Engineer. <br /> This policy of contractual liability insurance shall insure the Owner, t Engineer and the <br /> Engineer's employees , as their interests may appear, with limits o 00 , 000 for each person , <br /> $500 , 000 each incident for bodily injury or death and $50, 000 f roperty damage , and will protect <br /> the Owner, the Engineer and the Engineer's employees from ' ility for the acts and omissions of <br /> the Contractor, any of his subcontractors , servants, agents employees under this contract. <br /> Certificates of such insurance shall be delivered to the O er and Engineer before <br /> commencement of any of the work. The insurance poli shall contain a provision that the same <br /> shall not be canceled without first giving both the Ow r and the Engineer ten days notice in <br /> writing . <br /> With reference to Chapter 72=52 , Laws of Florid 972 , the specific considerations for the <br /> Contractor's promises as contained in this Art' are : <br /> (A) One dollar ($ 1 . 00) in hand paid by th wrier, the Engineer, and the Engineer's employees to <br /> the Contractor, receipt whereof is here acknowledged and the adequacy of which the Contractor <br /> accepts as completely fulfilling the o ations of the Owner, the Engineer, and the Engineer's <br /> employees under Chapter 72-52, s of Florida 1972 , and ; <br /> (B) The entry of the Owner a e Contractor into the construction contract because , but for the <br /> Contractor's promises as co ined in this Article, the Owner would not have entered into the <br /> construction contract with Contractor. <br /> Article 29 . BUILDERIS INSURANCE <br /> The Contractor, at ' own cost and expense shall secure and maintain throughout the execution of <br /> the work, and un ' e full acceptance thereof by the Owner, policies of builder's risk insurance <br /> including fire a extended coverage , vandalism and malicious mischief, as will protect the <br /> Contractor, er and Engineer and payable to the Owner for the benefit of the Contractor, the <br /> Owner an a Engineer, as their respective interests may appear. Certificates of such insurance <br /> shall be ivered by the Contractor to the Owner and to the Engineer before the commencement <br /> of any the work . These insurance policies shall contain a provision to the effect that the same <br /> shal of be canceled without first giving the Owner and Engineer thirty days notice in writing . This <br /> pr sion shall not release the Contractor of his obligation to complete , according to plans and <br /> ecifications , the project covered by the contract, and the Contractor and his surety shall be <br /> GC-8 <br /> i <br />
