THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESENTED A LETTER TO THE BOARD <br />FROM ATTORNEY ROBERT JACKSON, REPRESENTING RURAL SANITATION <br />SERVICE, REQUESTING THAI'' THE REGULAR RATE FOR GARBAGE <br />AND TRASH PICK-UP BE INCREASED FROM $2.75 TO $3.25 PER <br />MONTH. <br />ON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER MCCULLERS, SECONDED <br />BY COMMISSIONER Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR PUBLIC HEARING AS REQUESTED BY ATTORNEY <br />.JACKSON IN BEHALF OF RURAL SANITATION•SERVICE, <br />0 <br />ON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER MCCULLERS, SECONDED <br />BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR TO SEND COUNTY EQUIPMENT TO FELLSMERE TO <br />COVER UP THE EXISTING DUMP, WHICH IS FULL, AND TO DIG ANOTHER <br />PIT, AS REQUESTED BY MAYOR SAM FOY. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH <br />FELLSMERE FARMS DRAINAGE DISTRICT TO OBTAIN INFORMATION <br />REGARDING CLEANING UP OF TRASH AND GARBAGE ALONG THE PARK <br />LATERAL CANAL OFF STATE ROAD 512. <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HAS PLACED AN <br />ORDER FOR SIGNS, WHICH WILL BE POSTED, PROHIBITING <br />FISHERMEN FROM LEAVING THEIR NETS UNATTENDED ON THE CAT- <br />WALK OF THE SEBASTIAN INLET BRIDGE. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR REPORTED THAT BIDS WERE <br />RECEIVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ROAD WORK <br />TO BE DONE ON NORTH GIFFORD ROAD, INDIAN RIVER DRIVE THROUGH <br />SEBASTIAN TO THE COUNTY LINE AND 27TH AVENUE -SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD <br />TO THE COUNTY LINE. THE BID OF DICERKSON, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$201,705.06 WAS ACCEPTED AS BEING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DRITENBAS. THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION. <br />- 4 - <br />900k, .15 PAH- .92 <br />
