The Bidder agrees, if it is awarded the Contract, to commence Work under the Contract upon receipt of the Notice 'To Proceed from the Owner. Bidder further agrees to pay to Indian River County the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, as set forth in the Contract Documents , for each consecutive calendar day after the date of substantial completion that the Work is not completed as provided in the Contract Documents . Time of Completion : The Work shall commence immediately upon receipt of the Notice To Proceed from the Owner and shall be substantially complete on or before 150 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Final completion shall be 30 calendar days thereafter. Acceptance of Bid : The CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that the Owner reserves the right to accepi: or reject any or all Bids submitted within 60 calendar days from the date of the Bid opening . CONTRACTOR acknowledges that it shall be bound by the terms of this Bid and agrees that it will not withdraw its Bid for said period of time . Owner anticipates award of bid within 60 calendar clays from bid opening . Time : Time is of the essence.
