1A LIFE CYCLE COSTS <br /> DELETE A THROUGH G ENTIRELY AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING: <br /> A . Complete Lamp Replacement: Manufacturer shall include all group lamp replacements required to <br /> provide 25 years of operation based upon 500 usage hours per year. <br /> B. Preventative and Spot Maintenance: Manufacturer shall provide all preventative and spot <br /> maintenance, including parts and labor for 25 years from the date of equipment shipment. Individual <br /> lamp outages shall be repaired when the usage of any field Is materially Impacted. Owner agrees to <br /> check fuses In the event of a luminaire outage. <br /> 1 .5 PLAYABILITY <br /> A. DELETE THIS ITEM ENTIRELY AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING : <br /> A. Weight Reduction on Cross Arm <br /> Care must be taken to prevent cross arms from sagging, resulting In potential fixture <br /> misalignment. The ballasts shall be protected by a waterproof, easy access enclosure. <br /> 1 .6 MAINTENANCE EASE <br /> A. DELETE THIS ITEM ENTIRELY AND REPLACE WiTH THE FOLLOWING : <br /> A. Electrical Component Enclosure <br /> The electrical components enclosure shall be located In an easy access, secure and <br /> waterproof location. <br /> 1 .7 INSTALLATION EASE : <br /> E. Pole Attachment of Electrical Component Enclosure (for external mounted enclosures) <br /> To provide fast, trouble-free Installation, the electrical enclosure shall attach to the pole with <br /> a device that Is sufficient to align the enclosure and support the weight. This shall be a <br /> sealed joint with a non.threaded connection to provide wiring access from the pole to the <br /> enclosure for both the primary and secondary circuits. <br /> To provide watertight wire access, the connection will be Basketed. All wire passages shall <br /> be "burr-free " to prevent wire abrasion damage. <br /> 1 . 8 WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE <br /> A . DELETE THIS ITEM ENTIRELY AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING : <br /> A. 25- Year Warranty: Each manufacturer shall supply a signed warranty covering the entire system for <br /> 25 years. Warranty shall guarantee light levels; lamp replacements; system energy consumption; <br /> maintenance and control services, spill light control, and structural integrity.
