WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 1972 <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA MET IN REGULAR SESSION AT THE COURTHOUSE, <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA ON WEDNESDAY,. APRIL 19, 1972 AT 8:30 .O'CLOCK <br />A.M. PRESENT WERE RICHARD P. BOGOSIAN, CHAIRMAN, ALMA LEE Loy, <br />VICE CHAIRMAN; D.B. MCCULLERS, JR., EDWARD J. MASSEY. COMMISSIONER <br />.JACK U. DRITENBAS WAS ABSENT. ALSO PRESENT WERE JACK G. KENNINGS, <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR; PAUL D. BURCH, ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; JAMES STANLEY, DEPUTY SHERIFF; L.S. THOMAS <br />AND ELIZABETH FORLANI, DEPUTY CLERKS. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED' THE MEETING TO ORDER AND ASKED IF <br />THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE MINUTES OF THE <br />REGULAR MEETING OF APRIL 5, 1972, COMMISSIONER LOY REQUESTED <br />THE FOLLOWING: PAGE 19, FIRST PARAGRAPH SHOULD READ "STUDY OF <br />BEACH -FRONT PROPERTY FOR ACQUISITION". ATTORNEY BURCH REQUESTED <br />ON PAGE 13, FIRST PARAGRAPH, THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE BE ADDED: <br />"THE DEDICATION OF ROADS TO THE COUNTY BY SUBDIVISION PLAT, DOES <br />NOT MAKE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING <br />AND MAINTAINING ROADS OVER THE DEDICATED RIGHT-OF-WAYS"; COMMISSIONER <br />MCCULLERS REQUESTED ON PAGE 11 THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH BE INSERTED <br />AS PER ACTION. "ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MCCULLERS, THE BID OF <br />J.R. FURLONG, INC. FOR A PLYMOUTH DUSTER, WITHOUT AIR-CONDITIONING, <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,372.90 BE ACCEPTED AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BID. <br />THE MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF SECOND". <br />THESE CORRECTIONS HAWING BEEN MADE, MOTION <br />WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MCCULLERS <br />r. <br />AND THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING .OF APRIL 5TH, 1972 WERE <br />UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AS WRITTEN. <br />DEWEY WALKER, COUNTY ZONING INSPECTOR REPORTED ON <br />ZONING VIOLATIONS, <br />THE FOLLOWING LETTER WAS PRESENTED TO THE BOARD BY <br />ROBERT LOOMIS, REAL ESTATE AGENT REPRESENTING FLO'YD J.
