2. Section 25, Paragraph C (1) of Indian River County Ordinance <br />No. 71 - 3 states: <br />"Any lot of record at the time of the adoption of this <br />ordinance which contains less lot area or width than <br />required in the district in which it is located may be <br />used for a use permitted in such district. This pro- <br />vision shall not be construed to permit more than one <br />dwelling unit on a lot with less lot area per family <br />than required for the district in which such lot is <br />located. : <br />That it was the intent of the Board of County Commissioners in passing <br />said paragraph to allow the construction of at least one residence on <br />all nonconforming undersized lots that were of record (Platted Sub- <br />divisions) on September 8, 1971, and that the policy of the Board is in <br />conformity with that intent. <br />3.
