Program Activity/Project Description As part of the overall West Wabasso Sewer Improvements Plan Phase 1 project , CDBG funds will be used for improvements associated with Sanitary Sewer and flood and drainage . While a portion of the West Wabasso Sewer neighborhood is served by sewer lines , there are some streets lacking sewers . Problems with antiquated on - site septic systems form the need for sewer mains . A canal that drains the area is also in need of dredging to improve drainage and lessen flooding .
