7/17/86(BRUCE)LEG(Bnm) <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AMENDING <br />APPENDIX A INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CODE OF LAWS <br />AND ORDINANCES, SECTION 26(b); ENLARGING THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO SEVEN MEMBERS; <br />PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE <br />Be it ordained by the Board of County <br />Section I: <br />Appendix <br />A, Indian <br />River County Code Laws <br />Commissioners <br />of and <br />of <br />Indian <br />River <br />County <br />as follows: <br />Section I: <br />Appendix <br />A, Indian <br />River County Code Laws <br />of and <br />Ordinances, section 26(b)(I)b is hereby amended as follows: <br />Membership. The planning and zoning~ <br />commission shall be composed of €tde-f5j <br />seven (7) members, appointed for four- <br />year terms by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County <br />with each of the five members of the <br />------------------------------------ <br />Board of County Commissioners having <br />------------------------------------ <br />the privilege of nominating one member. <br />--------------------------------------- <br />The term for each such planning and zoning <br />commissioner shall run concurrently with <br />the terms term of the board of county <br />commission member responsible for that <br />planning and zoning commission's nomination. <br />Two additional members shall be appointed <br />----------------------------------------- <br />at_large—by— the —board —for —staggered —four=year <br />terms subject to the removal provisions <br />described in paragraph c. <br />------------------------- <br />Section 2. <br />Appendix A, Indian River County Code of Laws and <br />Ordinances, section 26(b)(I)g is hereby amended as follows. <br />Meetings shall be at the call of the chairman <br />or vice-chairman or at such times as a <br />majority of the members may determine.
