THIS AGREEMENT, made as of the day of i t i, e- , in the year Nineteen <br />Hundred and Seventy Two by and between the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, hereinafter called the Owner, and Smith -Davis & Associates, Inc., <br />Gainesville, Florida, and Beindorf and Associates, Inc., Vero Beach, Florida,. (A Joint <br />Venture), hereinafter called the Engineer. <br />WITNESSETH, that whereas the Owner intends to construct water supply and sanitary <br />sewerage facilities within certain unincorporated areas of Indian River County and to <br />acquire certain existing and future water and sewerage facilities, hereinafter called the <br />Project, and <br />WITNESSETH further, that whereas the Engineer intends to provide professional <br />engineering services in connection with the Project more specifically defined as follows: (1) <br />Preparation of a master plan for water and sewerage facilities within the area designated <br />hereinafter, and preparation of a preliminary engineering study and report on providing <br />water and sewerage facilities in specific built—up areas within -the planning area; (2) Review <br />and report to the Owner on plans and specifications for privately owned water and sewerage <br />systems which may be proposed for construction in the future. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the: Owner and the Engineer for the considerations hereinafter set <br />forth, agree as follows: <br />SECTION I — BASIC SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER <br />A. GENERAL <br />I_ It is understood that the services to be provided by the Engineer shall be <br />generally in those areas designated as Regions I and II as shown on Page 10-4 of the <br />report entitled "An Area—Wide Water and Sewerage Plan for Indian River County, <br />Florida" and dated February, 1972, which has previously been prepared for the <br />Owner by the Engineer. <br />2. The Engineer agrees to perform professional services in connection with the <br />Project as hereinafter stated. <br />
