June 13, 1972 <br />Page two <br />(4) It is expected that you will adhere to handle the pro <br />cessing, issuance and reporting procedures of this <br />department. <br />(5) The charging of permit fees with respect to the hand- <br />ling and issuance of septic tank permits will be optional <br />with you and will not be required by the Department <br />of Pollution Control. <br />If you desire to contract with this department, and in turn reallocate this <br />money to another, agency such as a county health department or local program, <br />we have no objections so long as the conditions mentioned above are adhered <br />to. <br />We should.appreciate your reply within five (5) days of receipt of this letter <br />so that we may proceed to work out contractual arrangements, if you desire <br />to enter into such arrangements. <br />In the eventY ou do not desire to enter into such contract, this department <br />will proceed as rapidly as possible to have its own personnel to handle these <br />matters. <br />Our Agency Accounting Manager has contacted persons conducting sanitary <br />landfill operations concerning allocation of such monies. <br />We realize the time for reply is short but we feel this matter is urgent.
