PAGE, PRESIDENT OF THE INDIAN RIVER SAFETY COUNCIL, <br />REQUESTING THE COUNTY TO CONSIDER THE SAME SAFETY REQUESTS AS <br />WRITTEN IN MR. MCCLUREIS LETTER, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MCCULLERS, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO PROCEED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ABOVE <br />REQUESTS AS PROMPTLY AS THEY CAN BE WORKED INTO THE ROAD AND <br />BRIDGE DEPARTMENT'S SCHEDULE. THE BOARD ALSO REQUESTED -THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO INVESTIGATE CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR INSTALLATION <br />OF A TRAFFIC CONTROL LIGHT AT THE INTERSECTION OF -20TH AVENUE AND <br />12TH STREET. THIS SUBJECT LIGHT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FUTURE <br />INSTALLATION AS FUNDS PERMIT. THE ADMINISTRATOR WAS INSTRUCTED <br />TO REQUESTASSISTANCE FROM THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AND <br />THE CITY OF VERO BEACH IN THIS PROJECTS. <br />WALLACE W. MCCORMICK, COUNTY SUPERVISOR AND WILLIAM <br />ELDRIDGE, PROJECTS SPECIALIST, REPRESENTATIVES OF U.S. FARMER'S <br />HOME ADMINISTRATION APPEARED AND INFORMED THE BOARD OF PROCEDURES <br />INVOLVED IN APPLYING FOR FEDERAL FUNDS WHICH COULD HELP PAY.THE <br />COST OFA COUNTY -WIDE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM. COUNTY CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERS, .JAMES L. BEINDORF AND WILLIAM R. SABIS, REPRESENTING <br />DR. DAVID SMITH, WERE PRESENT AND INFORMED THE BOARD THEY WOULD <br />BE IN CONTACT WITH MR. MCCORMICK AND MR.
