ORDINANCE NO. 86 - 23 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF <br />THE CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES, KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />CODE, ENACTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LIMITED COMMERCIAL <br />AND GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICTS; PERTAINING TO <br />ESTABLISHING MINIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE AND MINIMUM LAND <br />AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE -FAMILY DWELLINGS AND <br />HOTEL AND MOTEL ROOMS, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF <br />CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />Section 19, CL: Limited Commercial District, is hereby <br />amended by creating paragraph M., Minimum Floor Area and Land Area <br />Required as follows: <br />M. Minimum Floor Area and Land Area Required <br />For the following specified uses, every lot or parcel <br />shall provide a living quarters area and a land area <br />for each unit of at least the amount indicated: <br />Square feet of Square feet of <br />Use living area per unit land area per unit <br />Multiple -Family Dwelling 500 5,000 <br />Hotel or Motel unit 300 11200 <br />Section 20, CG: General Commercial District, is hereby <br />Required as follows: <br />M. Minimum Floor Area and Land Area Required <br />For the following specified uses, every lot or parcel <br />shall provide a living quarters area and a land area <br />for each unit of at least the amount indicated. <br />Square feet of <br />living area per unit <br />Multiple -Family Dwelling 500 <br />Hotel or Motel unit 300 <br />Square feet of <br />land area per unit <br />5,000 <br />1,200 <br />All previous ordinances, resolutions, or motions of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of.Indian River County, Florida <br />which conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby <br />repealed to the extent of such conflict.
