VF <br />4/12/88 <br />pnot3 <br />LR -Planning <br />DN/vj <br />ORDINANCE NO. 88- 19 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request, and <br />WHEREAS,, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent. to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />From the intersection of the South line of the J.A. Fisher <br />property, as recorded in Deed Book 27, Pg. 501 of the <br />records of Indian River County, and the East line of the <br />right of way of the Dixie Highway, which point is <br />established by a 4 inch concrete monument, go 106.0 feet in <br />a Southeasterly direction along said East line of said right <br />of way for the point of beginning; thence go 53.0 feet <br />Southeasterly along said right of way line, thence go due <br />East 588.5 feet, thence due North 150.0 feet to the South <br />line of said J.A. Fisher property, thence due West 450.0 <br />feet along said South line to the East line of the Frank <br />Ayers home Tract, as recorded in Deed Book 14, Pg. 302 of <br />the records of Indian River County, thence South 100.0 feet <br />along said East line, thence due West 154.7 feet to the <br />point of beginning.Less and excepting the Westernmost 200 <br />feet lying within the city limits of Vero Beach, Florida. <br />Said tract of land being located in the Northeast $ of <br />Section 35, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />Be changed from RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District to CG, <br />General Commercial District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />
