2/5/87 <br />pnot <br />LR -Planning <br />JAG/vh <br />ORDINANCE NO. 87-17 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />A parcel of land situate in Tract 12, Section 23, Township <br />33 South Range 39 East, according to Indian River Farms <br />Company Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 25, of <br />the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida; said lands <br />now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing at the northwest corner of said Tract 12, proceed <br />S 00000100" E along the west line of Tract 12 a distance of <br />30.06 feet; thence N 89048113" E along the south right of <br />way line for Indian River Farms Drainage District Canal E-7 <br />(30' wide) a distance of 25.00 feet to the Point of <br />Beginning; thence proceed N 89°481,13" E along Indian River <br />Farms Drainage District Canal E-7 south right of way line a <br />distance of 304.96 feet; thence S 00100'07" E a distance of <br />1299.25 feet to a point 'on the south line of Tract 12; <br />thence S 89145'48" W along the south line of Tract 12 a <br />distance of 305.00 feet to a point on the east right of way <br />line of 27th Avenue; thence N 00°00100" E along said east <br />right of way line a distance of 1229.46 feet to the Point of <br />Beginning; less the north 285.64 feet thereof. Containing <br />7.097 acres. <br />Be changed from RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District to CL, <br />Limited Commercial District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />
