ORDINANCE NO. 86- 37 <br />5-23-86 <br />PNOT <br />LR -Planning <br />RS/v <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />From a point of beginning at the intersection of the east <br />right-of-way line of a 160 -foot wide right-of-way line of a <br />250 -foot wide right-of-way for the South Relief Canal of the <br />Indian River Farms Water Management District, said P.O.B. <br />being in the SE j of the SW $ of Section 13, Township 33 <br />South, Range 39 east, Indian River County, Florida; <br />Run northeasterly on said south right-of-way line of the <br />South Relief Canal a distance of 600 feet to a point; thence <br />run southeasterly on a line parallel to the east <br />right-of-way line of Lateral "J" Canal a distance of 600 <br />feet to a point; thence run southwesterly on a line parallel <br />to the south right-of-way line of the South Relief canal a <br />distance of 600 feet to the intersection of the east <br />right-of-way line of Lateral- "J" Canal; thence run <br />northwesterly on said east right-of-way line of Lateral <br />"J" Canal a distance of 600 feet to said P.O.B. <br />Containing 8.26 acres more or less. <br />Be changed from RS -6, Single -Family Residential District, to <br />A-1, Agricultural District. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />
