ORDINANCE NO. 87 - <br />to the Community Development Department, and shall be <br />submitted along with written response to county <br />staff's preliminary plat review discrepancy letter <br />as explained in Section 7(d)(6), Appendix B, Subdivi- <br />sion and Platting, of the Indian River County Code of <br />Laws and Ordinances. The road designation appeal <br />shall be forwarded along with preliminary plat plans, <br />applications, and staff recommendations to the Indian <br />River County Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />review and consideration of approval. In reviewing <br />the appeal, the Board shall ensure that in no case <br />shall a proposed road name duplicate or closely <br />approximate an existing road name, and shall consider <br />the effect of the proposed road names with regard to <br />911 emergency response. The decision of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission shall be final, unless the <br />determination is further appealed to the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />Sec. 18-64. Enforcement. <br />Violations of this article shall be punished as <br />provided by general law. Any violation of this <br />chapter is also subject to prosecution before the <br />Indian River County Code Enforcement Board in <br />accordance with applicable law and subject to pen- <br />alties allowable under the code enforcement ordinance. <br />SECTION 2 <br />REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS <br />All previous ordinances, resolutions, or motions of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />
