ORDINANCE NO. 86 - 5 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION- <br />ERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ESTABLISH- <br />ING BOUNDARIES FOR THE 10 ACRE COMMERCIAL NODE <br />LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF STORM GROVE ROAD <br />AND U.S. HIGHWAY # 1 AS GENERALLY DESCRIBED IN <br />THE TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT AND DEPICTED <br />ON THE LAND USE MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF <br />THE COUNTY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR <br />THE BOUNDARY MAP, 'DESCRIPTION OF THE NODE AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida have amended the County's Comprehensive <br />Plan to provide for establishing boundaries for every commer- <br />cial, commercial/industrial, industrial, tourist/commercial, <br />and hospital/commercial node; and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has held a <br />public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation to <br />establish boundaries for this node, and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a <br />public hearing on. these proposed boundaries at which parties <br />in interest and citizens had an opportunity to be heard, and, <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is empowered <br />to adopt these boundaries to assist in the implementation of <br />the County's Comprehensive Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />The attached map labeled as "Attachment A" and the <br />description labeled as "Attachment B" shall be the official <br />boundaries of the 10 acre Commercial Node located at the <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The provisions <br />of this <br />ordinance <br />intersection of Storm Grove <br />Road and U.S. <br />Highway <br />#1. <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The provisions <br />of this <br />ordinance <br />shall become effective <br />upon receipt from <br />the <br />Florida <br />Secretary of State of official <br />acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed with the <br />Department of State. <br />
