RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, MODIFYING APPENDIX "A," RATE <br />SCHEDULE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />ORDINANCE NO. 84-18, MODIFYING THE <br />WASTEWATER SERVICES CHARGES; ADOPTING <br />CERTAIN OTHER PROVISIONS REQUIRED BY <br />FEDERAL AND STATE REGULATORY AGENCIES, <br />PROVIDING FULL FORCE AND EFFECT OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 84-18, INCORPORATION IN <br />CODE, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has been placed on <br />the. Fundable Portion of the Fiscal Year 1987 Priority List <br />of the Construction Grants Programs and <br />WHEREAS, a prerequisite for grant application is <br />adoption of an approved wastewater user charge system and <br />adoption of a wastewater user charge ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers of the County's <br />Division of Utility Services have made certain <br />recommendations concerning specific actions to be taken to <br />adopt an approved wastewater user charge system; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, ACTING THROUGHNITSBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />THAT: <br />SECT I O�I_1 . <br />WASTEWATER RATES AND CHARGES <br />Appendix "A," Schedule of Rates of Indian River County <br />'Ordinance No. 84-18, which presently is as follows: <br />Minimum Charge (Includes No Consumption) <br />Base Facilities Charge $1.53/ERU <br />Customer Charge $1.84/Meter <br />Volume Charge* . . . . $2.86/1,000 <br />gallons <br />*Only applied to first 12,000 gallons of water <br />consumption on each residential ERU <br />is hereby modified as follows. <br />
