thirty dollars ($30.00) for the privilege of engaging in <br />same. <br />(b) Definitions. <br />(1) Barter is the exchange of goods or <br />services of the same or different kind susceptible of <br />valuation without using or making reference to money. <br />(2) Broker as used herein means an agent <br />who, for commission or brokerage fee, carries on <br />negotiations in behalf of his principal and is an <br />intermediary between the latter and third persons in <br />transacting business relative to the barter of contractual <br />rights or any form of property. <br />(3) Business is that which occupies time, <br />attention and labor for the purpose of a livelihood or <br />profit. <br />(4) Dealer is one who engages in bartering <br />as a business. <br />(5) Barter broker includes both brokers and <br />dealers as defined herein. <br />(c) Every barter broker shall keep a complete and <br />true record of all transactions showing the goods or <br />services exchanged, the date of transfer and the names of <br />all parties involved in the transaction. Said records shall <br />at all times be subject to the inspection of all police or <br />peace officers. <br />SECTION 52. --Incorporation in code. <br />------------------- <br />This ordinance shall be incorporated into the Code <br />of Ordinances of Indian River County and the word <br />"ordinance" may be changed to "section", "article", or other <br />appropriate word and the sections of this ordinance may be <br />renumbered or relettered to accomplish such purposes. <br />SECTION 53.
