6 <br />1 CHAPTER H <br />2 <br />3 RESPONSIBILLITIES/RELATIONSI "S <br />4 Officials listed below are responsible for the functions indicated: <br />5 <br />6 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />7 - <br />8 1. Approves policies, procedures and priorities based upon recommendations from the Children's <br />9 Services Advisory Committee. <br />10 <br />11 2. Approves in writing only those children's programs or agencies proposed by the Children's <br />12 Services Advisory Committee and may approve or delete any program. <br />13 <br />14 3. Authorizes all financial measures including grant applications and receipt of gifts for carrying <br />15 out funding of services. <br />16 <br />17 4. Provides final approval of all Children's Services Advisory Committee recommended contracts <br />18 and documents. <br />19 <br />20 5. Approves the annual budget for Children's Services Advisory Committee programs, as well as <br />21 expenses necessary to staff the Executive Office, <br />22 <br />23 6. Appoints members to the Children's Services Advisory Committee. <br />24 <br />25 CHILDREN'S SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />26 <br />27 Membership shall consist of thirteen (13) members appointed by the Indian River County Board of <br />28 County Commissioners, in accordance with the provisions of County Ordinance No. 9747, as <br />29 amended: <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 .- <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />43 <br />44 <br />45 <br />
