THIS PUBLIC HEARING FOR A SEWER FRANCHISE SCHEDULED FOR <br />9:30 O'CLOCK A.M., NOVEMBER 22, 1972 FOR ,JOHN W. MCGUIRE TRAILER PARK, <br />BY TREASURE COAST UTILTIES, INC., REPRESENTED BY STEVE HENDERSON <br />WAS TABLED UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING TO ALLOW THE ADMINISTRATOR AND COUNTY <br />ENGINEERS SUFFICIENT TIME TO REVIEW THE MATERIALS RECEIVED. <br />DAVID R. LANGFITT, JR. OF TREASURE COAST UTILITIES, INC. AND <br />STEVE HENDERSON, ATTORNEY APPEARED AND THE ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT ALL <br />THE QUALIFICATIONS AS STATED IN THE UTILITY FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS HAVE <br />BEEN AET. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD APPROVED A UTILITY FRANCHISE FOR .JOHN W. MCGUIRE <br />TRAILER PARK BY TREASURE COAST UTILITIES, INC., WHICH WILL BE PREPARED <br />AND PRESENTED AT THE NEXT MEETING TO BE SIGNED BY THE CHAIRMAN. <br />WALTER .JOHNSON APPEARED REQUESTING -TENTATIVE APPROVAL OF <br />PROPOSED PINEWOOD ESTATES. THE ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT THIS IS AN <br />ON-GOING DEVELOPMENT AND HAS DRAINAGE SWALES IN AND ROADS READY FOR <br />SURFACING. THESE ARE PRIVATE ROADS AND THE COUNTY WILL,HAVE NO <br />JURISDICTION OVER THEM. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED TENTATIVE APPROVAL OF <br />PINEWOOD ESTATES, AS REQUESTED BY WALTER JOHNSON. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE.BOARD THAT HE HAS RECEIVED <br />APPROVAL FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ERECT BEACON SIGNAL <br />LIGHTS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF STATE ROAD 60,AND KINGS HIGHWAY: RANCH <br />ROAD.: AND 90TH AVENUE, <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE SPEED LIMIT <br />ON STATE ROAD 60 WILL BE REDUCED TO 55 MILES'PER HOUR. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS SUGGESTED THAT RUMBLE STRIPS ARE <br />NEEDED AT 12TH ST. AND 27TH AVENUE TO ALERT MOTORISTS OF A STOP SIGN <br />AT THAT INTERSECTION. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY RECEIVED A LETTER AND A PETITION REQUESTING <br />THAT SAFETY MEASURES BE TAKEN AT THE 12TH ST. AND 27TH AVENUE INTER- <br />SECTION AND THEY ARE BEING MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES. <br />-7- <br />197Z. 800A Is <br />
