(5) Environmental impact considerations. Piers, docks, boat shelters, and other waterfront <br />structures shall be located in order to minimize negative impacts on shoreline vegetation <br />and marine grassbeds, as applicable. The purpose of the <br />elevation is to reduce or eliminate the potential for mooring of boats at the <br />observation/fishing pier. <br />"No Mooring" signs shall be installed on opposite sides of the main access pier <br />and on the end of the terminal platform facing waterward (i.e., three signs in <br />total). Lettering_ shall be no less than four (4) inches high and no greater than six <br />(66) inches high. <br />4. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS <br />All previous ordinances, resolutions, or motions of the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida which conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby <br />repealed to the extent of such conflict.
