ORDINANCE NO, 98- 0 9 <br />14 Review of Development Projects by Task Force Members <br />U The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint a group of Task Force members <br />and design professionals (W to 4 persons known as the "SR 60 on-going review task <br />force") to serve as volunteers for reviewing and commenting upon plans for projects <br />within the corridor plan area. <br />kW Planning staff shall notify arou12 members of pre -application conferences and <br />Technical Review Committee meetings at which projects within the corridor plan <br />area are scheduled for review. <br />Lc) Group members shall have the opportunity to attend the meeting and provide <br />comments to the applicant along with staff comments. Group members` comments <br />shall pertain to site plan compliance with corridor plan requirements. <br />U Planning staff shall noti6 group members of developer responses to any comments <br />from group members. Group members may provide staff with follow -o comments <br />that will be presented, along with staff s recommendation, to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br />15 Major, Minor, Administrative Site Plan Approval <br />In the SR <br />60 Corridor <br />Plan area, development and redevelopment <br />requiring <br />major <br />site 121an <br />Persons <br />who served <br />on the SR 60 Corridor <br />approval shall <br />comply <br />with <br />Plan <br />Task <br />Force or other <br />Board <br />-appointed <br />of projects <br />requiring_ <br />minor site plan approval or administrative <br />citizens and volunteering <br />design Professionals shall <br />be given the opportunity to provide <br />input <br />into the normal site <br />plan review and approval process <br />that will be followed by applicants <br />of <br />The <br />described <br />projects within the <br />corridor. As an example, <br />a small <br />addition <br />that requires <br />additional <br />parking_spaces <br />would result in a project area <br />of development/redevelopment <br />that <br />landscape <br />includes the <br />addition <br />AND the parking lot addition <br />and adjacent required <br />areas. <br />Non -Conformities <br />Within the SR 60 Corridor Plan area, legally established existing development and uses that <br />do not comply with these special regulations are grandfathered -in under the countywide <br />nonconformities regulations of LDR Chapter 904. All nonconforming uses and structures <br />are governed by the LDR Chapter 904 regulations. <br />In addition, within the SR 60 corridor plan area the following non -conformities regulations <br />shall apples <br />La) Nonconforming Property: It is the intent of this chapter to allow nonconforming <br />properties to continue, but also to encourage their conformity to what shall be <br />referred to as a "compatible property". A "compatible property" shall be considered <br />in compliance with the intent of the SR 60 Corridor special regulations. <br />Continuance of Nonconforming Property: A nonconforming property may be <br />continued, subject to the following_ provisions: <br />Coding: Words in strike-throttgis type are deletions from existing law.
