THE PRESENT BUILDING HOUSING.T E COUNTY WELFARE OFFICE IS <br />IN NEED OF REPAIR AND IS DETERIORATING. CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT <br />THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR LONG RANGE PLANNING. <br />- THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESENTED A LETTER FROM GORDON <br />JOHNSTON, ATTORNEY REPRESENTING THE TOWN OF INDIAN.RIVER SHORES, <br />MR. JOHNSTON WAS REQUESTED TO RECEIVE THE BOARDS INTERPRETATION <br />OF RESOLUTIONS 62-51 AND RESOLUTION #22. THE TOWN OF INDIAN <br />RIVER SHORES QUESTIONED IF OLD WINTER BEACH ROAD IS IN THE DEFINED <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES. COMMISSIONER <br />.... <br />BOGOSIAN STATED THAT RESOLUTION 62-51 ONLY.GIVES THE TOWN OF <br />INDIAN RIVER SHORES THE RIGHT TO MAINTAIN THE OLD WINTER BEACH <br />ROAD AND THAT IT WAS NOT ABANDONED BY THE COUNTY, <br />THE ATTORNEY WAS INSTRUCTED TO INVESTIGATE THIS AND <br />ANSWER MR. JOHNSTON's LETTER. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A REQUEST FROM <br />RESIDENTS OF ROCKRIDGE SUBDIVISION TO RELOCATE THE DRAINAGE <br />SWALE BETWEEN 4TH AVENUE AND 4TH COURT, THE ADMINISTRATOR SUGGESTED <br />THIS COULD BE DONE AND IF THE RESIDENTS WANT THIS DRAINAGE SWALE <br />RELOCATED THEY SHOULD SUBMIT A PETITION WITH SIGNATURES OF ALL <br />RESIDENTS INVOLVED. RESIDENTS WILL THEN BE NOTIFIED IN <br />SUFFICIENT TIME TO REMOVE THEIR SHRUBS. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR WILL INFORM THE ROCKRIDGE SUBDIVISION <br />THAT THIS REQUEST WILL BE HELD IN ABEYANCE UNTIL A DEFINITE <br />DECISION IS MADE BY THE RESIDENTS IN ROCKRIDGE SUBDIVISION. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED IDEAS AND QUESTIONS TO BE BROUGHT <br />TO THE ATTENTION OF THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION THAT WILL MEET <br />AT THE COURTHOUSE ON JANUARY 25, 1973, <br />CHAIRMAN Loy INFORMED THE BOARD OF A REQUEST FROM THE <br />TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES TO SECURE A VOTING MACHINE TO BE USED <br />=7 - <br />JA 2 41973 6NK 1V FcL325 <br />
