ivCLA:UfATIOiJ <br />WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America, the Nation's largest youth <br />or anization is a partner with over 100 000 other organizations <br />g Pa s <br />offering a program of character development, citizenship train- <br />ing, and mental and physical fitness; and <br />WHEREAS, through Scouting more than 1.5 million adults now give <br />dedicated volunteer service to 4.5 million boys and young adults <br />who are, an -important contribution to our nation's future; and <br />WHEREAS, moreover; the County of Indian River and members of the <br />Y <br />Board of County Commissioners highly regard all the traditions of <br />Scouting which have contributed materially to the development -and <br />growth of this community in the past and offers unparalleled <br />opDortunities for�the.future.through Boypower 176, a plan to make <br />Scouting more relevant to the needs and concerns of today's youth: <br />Therefore be it <br />RESOLVED, that I.
