ORDINANCE NO. 93- 15 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM A-1 TO <br />RM -6, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF THE TOWN OF <br />INDIAN RIVER SHORES AND SOUTH OF THE SEA OAKS SUBDIVISION, AND <br />DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />A parcel described as: Beginning at a stake on the East edge <br />of the Indian River lying 284.2 feet North of the South line <br />of Section 26, Township 31 South, Range 39 East; then run East <br />250 feet to a stake, then South 100 feet; then West 221.2 feet <br />to a stake on the East edge of the Indian River, then run <br />North along the East edge of the Indian River to the point of <br />beginning; <br />AND the North 224.1 feet of the South 508.3 feet of Government <br />Lot 10, Section 26, Township 31 South, Range 39 East, <br />LESS that portion <br />of the following described <br />land <br />lying within <br />Government Lot 10. <br />and described <br />in <br />Beginning at a stake 284.2 feet North of the South line of <br />Section 26, Township 31 South, Range 39 East, and on the line <br />between Government Lots 10 and 11; then East 196 feet to a <br />stake, then North 210 feet to an iron pipe; then West 340 feet <br />to a stake, then South 110.6 feet to a stake; then South 88 <br />degrees 30 minutes West 135.8 feet to a stakes then South <br />97.02 feet to a stake in the North line of Yoder's land, then <br />East 279.8 feet to the point of beginning. <br />Lying in Indian River County, Florida. <br />Be changed from A-1 to RM -6. <br />All <br />with the <br />meaning <br />and intent <br />and as set forth <br />and described <br />in <br />said <br />Land Development <br />Regulations. <br />
