11 ORDINANCE N0. 93-20 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS -6 TO <br />OCR, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF OLD DIXIE <br />HIGHWAY BETWEEN 8TH STREET AND 9TH STREET, AND DESCRIBED <br />HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />PARCEL #l: <br />FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, <br />RANGE 39 EAST, RUN IN EASTERLY DIRECTION ALONG SOUTH BOUNDARY <br />OF SAID SECTION 12 A DISTANCE OF 1630.71 FEET; THEN RUN IN A <br />NORTHERLY DIRECTION ALONG A LINE WHICH IS PARALLEL TO THE WEST <br />BOUNDARY OF SAID SECTION 12 A DISTANCE OF 440 FEET TO THE <br />POINT OF BEGINNING: THEN CONTINUE ALONG SAME LINE A DISTANCE <br />OF 100 FEET; THEN RUN IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION ALONG A LINE <br />WHICH IS PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF SAID SECTION 12 A <br />DISTANCE OF 117.14 FEET TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE OLD DIXIE <br />HIGHWAY; THEN RUN IN A SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION ALONG�,THE <br />CENTERLINE OF THE OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY A DISTANCE OF 105.75 FEET;. <br />THEN RUN IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION A DISTANCE OF 151.25 FEET TOS <br />THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
