AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RM -6 TO CON -1 FOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG SR AIA BETWEEN SEA OAKS AND INDIAN RIVER <br />SHORES; AND FROM RS -1 AND A-1 TO CON -1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF SR <br />AIA, AT THE INTERSECTION WITH JUNGLE TRAIL; AND FROM A-1 AND A-2 TO CON -1 <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF CR 512 AND WEST OF THE ST. SEBASTIAN <br />RIVER, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held two public hearings pursuant to <br />this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />IN SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST: <br />GOVERNMENT LOT 3 LESS THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PARCELS: <br />THE NORTH 400 FEET OF THE SOUTH 1,250 FEET LYING EAST OF <br />STATE ROAD AIA, MEASURED ALONG THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />OF STATE ROAD AIA <br />IN SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 31 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST: <br />GOVERNMENT LOT 10 LESS THE SOUTH 504.2 FEET; AND LESS THE <br />NORTH 165 FEET OF THE SOUTH 975.2 FEET <br />
