3 /14 / 94 Cord. /moorings . doc k Ow <br />ORDINANCE 94- 07 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />CREATING THE MOORINGS STREET LIGHTING <br />DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the residents of the Moorings have requested that the <br />County establish a mechanism for providing street lighting service at <br />crucial locations throughout the subdivision; <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds that the creation of a municipal <br />service benefit unit to raise funds through the equitable assessment of <br />property owners throughout the subdivision is the best available means <br />of accomplishing the desired goal; and <br />WHEREAS, the provision of street lighting in the area will further <br />the safety, health and well-being of all those residing and owning <br />property within the boundaries of the district, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that. <br />SECTION 1. Creation of Municipal Service Benefit Unit. <br />There is hereby established in Indian River County the Moorings <br />Municipal Service Benefit Unit under the authority of, and with all <br />those powers conferred by, the Constitution of the State of Florida, <br />Sections 125.01(q) and 125.01(r) of the Florida Statutes and Chapter <br />200 of the Indian River County Code. The real property included <br />within the boundaries of this municipal service benefit unit is described <br />as follows <br />The following units of the Moorings, all recorded in <br />the Public Records of Indian River, Florida: <br />Unit One, in Plat Book 8, Page 6. <br />Unit Two, in Plat Book 8, Page 28. <br />Unit Three, in Plat Book 8, Page 63. <br />Unit Four, in Plat Book 8, Page 72. <br />Unit Five, in Plat Book 9, Page 98. <br />Unit Six, in Plat Book 10, Page 63. <br />All of Government Lots 3 & 4, Section 21, Township <br />33 South, Range 40 East, lying West of A -1-A <br />Highway. Together with and including that part of <br />Government Lot 2, in Section 28, Township 33 <br />South, Range 40 East, lying South of Windward <br />Way. <br />Lying in Indian River County, Florida. <br />-I- <br />
