(G) . Upon properliea-^�ti-e i—proof of vaccination and payment of fees, <br />the animal control division or its designated agent shall <br />issue a durable tag which bears the registration number;, and the year <br />and eecint-y of issuance; and the phrase "Indian River County Animal <br />License". The current license tag, <br />vaeeinatzien tag, shall be affixed or attached to a durable and well <br />fitting collar or harness and shall be worn at all times by the licensed <br />dog or cat, whenever such animal is outside of the dwelling unit of its <br />owner, whether lawful! restrained or not. <br />(H) No license shall be transferable from one 4-1+ animal to another nor <br />from one 4-1-L, owner to another owner. Upon transfer of a previously <br />licensed animal to a new owner, said the new owner shall have a period <br />of thirty (30) days within which to comply with the requirements of this <br />chapter. <br />(I } <br />The 33......ter E3f the 9ivisien of a3 ifRal ccs <br />the Di3F.eeter ef r Servie .., The County may enter into <br />contractual arrangements with any licensed veterinarian or with the owner <br />of any designated and approved pet supply store in this county to issue <br />animal licenses under this chapter. All such contracts shall be -ii <br />te prier - - al b r the —Bear-�—ef Ge:inty Gemffiissieners shall be 3n —a <br />standard r -H:, and shall be equally available to all interested <br />3cialif ring veterinarians and designated and approved pet supply stores. <br />In addition, the Humane Society may issue animal licenses pursuant to a <br />contract with the County. <br />(:T) The divesien of animal control division or any contracting agent <br />therefor shall make a record for each license issued and shall provide <br />all licensing information to a central data system which is readily and <br />continuously available for animal control authority purposes. <br />(K). Licensing provisions of this chapter shall not apply to: <br />(1} Any owner who is a nonresident or temporary resident, as defined, <br />provided that the owner's dog or cat has been vaccinated fer rabies in <br />some other jurisdiction, which vaccination remains valid under the laws <br />of that jurisdiction for the duration of the anticipated stay within this <br />county. All other requirements including restraints obligations shall <br />apply; or <br />
